GOGRACE: WHAT YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT GOD’S GRACE SO YOU TOOK HIM FOR GRANTED

When men do not understand anything about God, they over stand God and fight out His works. It seem to them as an act of defending God yet in the eyes of Him, they are fighting against His course. This is because certain things have changed from the middle ages to the end. Abnormality is on God’s side. Such is what can fulfil His perfect will.

The man who made the compass needs the compass to direct him. Why can’t he do without the compass? Because the compass came with a purpose for a purpose therefore no matter how intelligent the traveler is, he still needs his instrument to direct his path. Didn’t he make the compass? He did. That shows you why God installed Grace, an unearned, unmerited and underserved favor to benefit man.

Grace is not meant to be understood by any layman walking on the street who do not want a thing to do with Elohim. That is not how Abba initiated it. If so, then men could take advantage of Grace and do whatever we like with it in this life, after all, there is Grace. It takes people with the wisdom of God to know the things of God. Whenever people hear you talk about Grace, the first thing that comes out of their mouth is, “Shall we contnue in sin because Grace may abound?” (Romans 6:1), a question that was thrown to Apostle Paul as he expounded the Favor of God to the people. As humans, it’s a pity to see your fellow brothers and sisters acting as if they don’t need God’s favor in their life. It’s as if they do not read the Bible. Why will a believer of Christ question God’s implementation and make it feel like he knows better than the Father? It’s all boils down to the fact that ignorant to know the Word leads to ill-information. I call it hypocrisy. Pretending to be what you are not.

The Creator knows man’s weakness after man sinned. The Creator instead of killing man through the wages of sin did not murder us, no one could have questioned Him. The Creator provided a Law to check man according to man’s actions and none could obey all the ten. We broke all (Romans 3:20). The Creator provides an antidote to regenerate and renew man (Titus 3:5) yet man is still adamant talking about what he can do for himself.

Whenever we are asked to share the Grace of God, I observe and analyze the words carefully. Indeed, the Word of God is quick and sharper than a two edged sword. The Grace of God is indeed perfect. (2 nd Corinthians 13:14 – The Grace of the Lord Jesus Chris, and the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen). We sometimes speak these words for speaking sake. Let’s break a few things down to know what HIS Grace is all about?

What is the Grace of God?
As explained earlier, Grace is when you don’t need to work to merit blessings from God. The word “work” is not an act of laboring, i.e. working for money? No. Most people misinterpret this a lot but that is not the case. Work in Greek is called "ergon" (effort or deed) to please God. For instance, when God announces to the world to please Him through our own effort or deed, every man will do his possible best to delight God. That self- vigor/ liveliness/labor adopted to please God is what is defined as works in the Bible. Ever since I gained consciousness about God, I have always been afraid about men who boast when it comes to Christianity. Some individuals will brag in their preaching on how they pray four hours a day, fast twice every week and how they hop over sin. They preach and make it look like they have everything in their own power to serve God without sinning, such people I call them the self-righteous men. They lead the sheeps astray at all times taking God’s Glory unto themselves. If man could please God perfectly through our own means, then there would not be a need for Grace. So what is Grace? Grace is a who and a what. The word “of” is indicates an association between two entities, typically one of the belonging, in which the first is the head of the phrase and the second is his association. So the Grace of God means God is the Owner of the Grace. But how can we know God’s Grace? Knowing God as the owner of Grace is more of a mystery yet let’s try to break it down with the help of the holy Spirit. The only way man can know the Landlord of something at work on planet earth is through a physical manifestation. God is Spirit and no man can see Him with the naked eye therefore for God to deal with man on Earth which is a conversion from Spirit to flesh, God had to manifest Himself for all to see. His appearance in a form of man to fulfill the works of the Law and to justify man is what defines Him as the Son of God (we will talk about that some other time) not like an earthly Father and son. No, the Son of God means the Father who is Spirit transform into flesh in a different atmosphere to complete a course hence His rank as the Messiah; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person (Hebrews 1:3). So Grace is not just something, He is a person called Jesus Christ.

John 1:17; For the law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.  Why is Grace and Truth qualified with a passive verb; “came?”. Because He is a Living Being called Jesus. When you continue the verse, He throws more light; 4. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.  Meaning Grace is the only begotten Son of God called Jesus who brings Truth to the World. So simply put, Grace is a person; the Son of God. So to our question asked earlier in Romans 6; “Shall we continue in sin because Grace may abound?”. This is the best way to put it, “shall we continue in sin because Jesus will always deliver us? No wonder Apostle Paul quickly answered in the 6:2 “God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” what does it mean? It means how shall we who have been saved (dead to sin) by Jesus call unto Him to save us again. If Salvation was a repetition of Jesus dying every day, then that mean Jesus blood is just like that of the bulls and goats. But no, Jesus needed to die once because He is the author of Salvation. (Romans 6:10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God) therefore Paul calls on them that a dead man is a dead man. Your old self which connected and recorded your sinfulness is no more. You now have the body of Christ. That is why He who knew no sin took your place on the cross to die for you. A substitution took place therefore God watches you from Heaven and see you as righteous Jesus. That is how Grace is defined.

Then come the multimillion dollar question; what if I sin? Will Grace still abound for me?
This is when people begin to misinterpret Grace that Jesus pampers sin. Eating with sinners and the others. Sometimes you begin to ask yourself why mortal men full of sin for a minute will think that sin is a deliberate act so people should stop sinning. How many times do we preach people to stop drug abuse? Why are they still in it? Because of addiction. The fact that you are free does not mean you tried your best not to be involved. That is a foolish thought. BE GRATEFUL TO God for keeping you out. Therefore, we don’t preach-shout at the people to stop sinning. We preach Jesus to them and He delivers them from the works of the flesh. If men do not stay focus and depend on His Grace, we will keep losing focus.

So the question is not what is Grace? It’s; what is the labor or work of Grace?
Grace as defined is Jesus Christ and His work is His Name. your name determines your work therefore a bad name will also land you a bad living (we’ll treat why God and Satan changes name before employing men to work) if Jesus does not come into the picture. The work of Grace is to Save (Yeshua), to transform, to better, to finish etc. Deliberate or Meditative sin is not an act of a Jesus follower. A man equipped with the Holy Spirit does not plan on how to murder, steal or cause confusion. A lot of those habits are ongoing but I tell you, whoever meditate sin is under the influence of the devil and must wake up by God’s Grace. So far as we are in a world of corruption, sin will always come at us even if you will stay indoors. Log online and you will experience the porn adds all over your phone. That is a sin. Indeed, God knew such a time like this will come therefore He filled us with His Spirit in Christ JESUS so we can overcome. Sometimes you do not overcome, it conquers you. Don’t worry, keep believing and always depend on God’s Grace for your redemption.
