MENZGOLD CUSTOMERS THREATEN TO VOTE NPP OUT IF NAM1 IS NOT REVEALED

Aggrieved customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited have awakened their fury at the Accra High Court's decision in remanding the Chief Executive Officer; Nana Appiah Mensah whiles their investment lies in ruins.

The heated clients issued a statement at the Accra International Press Center on Wednesday to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police demanding the whereabouts of NAM1. According to Mr. Fred Forson, spokesperson for the aggrieved customers, the customers are not pleased as to why everything concerning Nana Appiah Mensah and Menzgold is kept secret from them therefore; they signalled a warning that if it continue is such manner, they will have no option than to vote against the New Patriotic Party next year.

Nana Appiah arrived in Ghana having won a court case against his gold-business partners; Horizon Royal to pay him $39 million plus compensation for incarceration following a gold business deal between the two sides.

He was handed to Ghana Interpol and arraigned before court on the 12th July 2019. NAM1 was charged with two counts of abetment to defraud by false pretense and two count of abetment to carry out banking business without license, contrary to Section 6 (1) of the Banks and Specialized Deposit-taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).

His Brew Marketing Consult and Menzgold Ghana Limited represented by him was charged with ‘defrauding by false pretense’ and carrying out a deposit-taking business without license.

NAM1 is set to appear before court on July 26, 2019
