'eFOOTBALL PES 2020': WHAT THE DEMO IS ALL ABOUT

Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer has returned and this time, the name has been improved. It’s no more PES but a reformation from the old to a new identity; e Football PES 2020. the name according to reports appears to attempt to link the game to in competition with easports, builders of the FIFA Football game.

According to Konami, the game will be "ushering in a new decade of industry-leading football simulation with a bold promise to revolutionise eFootball and introduce the sport to a global audience",

“Today’s announcement of eFootball PES 2020 and our new positioning recognizes this company’s commitment to the emerging sport of eFootball and progress we’ve made in that direction with previous PES titles," said Jonas Lygaard, senior director of brand & business development at Konami, in a release. "With KONAMI’s continued investment in the PES LEAGUE and eFootball.Pro tournaments, plus our dedication to continually raising the bar for football simulation games, we’ve never been more excited for the future of the eFootball PES series.”

The demo for the eFootball PES 2020 was released on the 30 th July with Lionel Messi still the cover star. The original version is set to be released on September 10 and 12 worldwide including Asia.

 

FEATURES

The demo game as said earlier has the ‘eFootball’ within the title and forms part of the transition when playing the game. The interface and color decoration is charming with the menu simply built for gamers to have ab easy access.

Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal are all featured in the demo version whiles Liverpool new multi-million year contract with EASports takes them out of the new eFootball PES 2020 soccer demo. Although they will be a part of the full edition yet they are no more partners with KONAMI hence their absence in the demo.

A dialogue system has been introduced which will allow players to interact with other characters and increased detail that will be added to the processof managing and negotiating contracts.

It is available to pre-order now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. PES will be released on 10 September across those platforms, though it will arrive two days later in Asia.
