3-DAYS VIRTUOUS LADIES RESIDENTIAL RETREAT ENDS

A three-day residential retreat for the Virtuous Ladies of the Church of Pentecost ended fruitful yesterday.

The program structured by the National Women’s Director; Deaconess, Mrs. Grace Lucy Asuamah and her executives was one of a kind at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology; Evans Arhinful auditorium. Virtuous Ladies coordinators, District Women Leaders, District Women Secretaries, Area Women Executives and pastor’s Wives representatives were the embodiment of the three-day national event which hosted 18 areas within the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Region.

According to the National Women’s Director of the Women’s Ministry, the objective of the retreat was a tool of fulfillment in the chairman’s ‘Vision 2023-possessing the Nation as an agent of transformation’ and one way to accomplish that is by shaping the Pentecostal lady into a refined vessel for the Master’s use.

The event begun on the 19th to the 21st June highlighting the lack of the ladies and improving their status through cultured training in the pentecostal way.  Leadership and Effective Communication was discussed as one key focus of the church to enable it possess the Nations. The ‘we live for Christ’ persons led by Rev. Philip Tutu on Thursday were enlightened on the needfulness of conveying messages with diverse people and putting their sentiments at heart for solutions.

“We want to prepare them on how to interact with people from all walks of life in order to become effective leaders for the Church when the time arise. We purposely organized this event for the women and young ladies in order to blend them. Their association will help to share responsibilities with the intension of given the young one’s chance to work as they serve as guardians to them.’ The Women’s director told Soiree News.

Pastor Anthony Mensah of the Pentecost International Worship Center updated the Righteous Ladies on Thursday on the world view of Christianity; a subject which is depreciating the believers hope in Christ of late with celebrities and a section of ‘men of God’ denying the return of Jesus and God’s existence. If indeed the Virtuous Woman can possess the Nation, her sub-consciousness needed activation before encountering the poisonous deceit of Satan. This through the solid foundation of a grounded teaching, she will defeat the enemy.

“It is the Church’s responsibility to let the women shine wherever they find themselves in order to possess the Nations. If believers in Ghana shine brighter at any location, every darkness will disappear to make Ghana and the world become a better place to live” Women’s National Director added.

Area Women’s Ministry Leader of New Tafo Area – Kumasi; Mrs. Deborah Ntim deemed the training as a great opportunity for the ladies and an ideal solution of raising lady-leaders to strengthen the Church whiles the administration of the old fades. “the organization has been perfect to the Glory of God. Topics of leadership has wired us up as leaders and the younger generation. The how, when, where and why have all been addressed and this indeed is a tool for training.”

‘A lot of people are denying the existence of God and the second coming of Christ attributing all the factors of wealth to self-efforts. We have learnt that these are all satanic doctrines therefore it is our responsibility to go out and preach the Word of God to transform people from the false teachings setting the world ablaze with the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit” she added.

The Vision 2023 of the Church of Pentecost was initiated by the chairman of the Church; Apostle Eric Nyamekye defining believers as Agents of Transformation with the ability of posessing the Nations.
