THE STORY - THE CITY ON A HILL

The 'City On A Hill' is a story which conceive the idea of two disciples of Jesus; Mathew and Paul.

The author centered the story around these characters purposely to expose their life in an extreme human understanding before meeting the Savior and when they did, the perfect impact of the two to the world.

Mathew also known as Levi was a tax collector imputing higher levies under the Roman governor on sellers. This increased prices of products through unscrupulous means raising works of the flesh. Whenever man’s effort is at work, works of the flesh reigns; the authors conception and his inspiration for wrtiting. Mathew who could not quit although he knew all about the commandments because he had a family to feed decided to live such an unpleasing life until he met Jesus.

Paul, a contracted killer of the Christians suffered persecution in the hands of Jews. After he was imprisoned with Barnabas and later released by the power of God, he joined Mathew in search for the mystical city on a hill which Jesus spoke about. The two knew this City was not just ordinary but a metropolis available to believers through faith therefore those who saw the city shine at night were willing to locate it but to no avail.

As these travel to the city, they pass through the town of righteousness, Egypt and other villages winning souls for Christ. They propagated the Gospel regarding the City and men who believed witnessed it existence.
